This shirt is from the Grange Albion Baseball Club, and was worn in 2007.

Baseball has a long history in Cardiff.  Different from American baseball, in the UK the sport was only played in Cardiff, Newport and Liverpool.  Baseball grew in popularity in the early 20th century, mainly in the working class areas of the city.  The 1929 Cardiff and District League had 37 teams, 19 of which were from Splott and Grangetown. 

Grange Albion Baseball Club began in 1907 and is still active today. This shirt was worn in 2007, the centenary year of the club. On the 18^th of May, a celebratory match was held between Grange Albion and Combine Wales / England X1, which resulted in a draw.

The black and white stripes on the shirt were well known to be Grange Albion, and are still worn in the uniform to this day.
