Until 1991, conductors and drivers on Cardiff's buses had to hold a Public Service Vehicle badge to show they were licensed to drive a bus or collect fares.
A red badge would have been issued to a driver and a green to a conductor. Each badge had a code showing the traffic area the bus/conductor was operating in, followed by their staff number. The 'GG' on these badges refers to the South Wales traffic area. Badges with low numbers show longer service.
